Zreče is a town in the northeastern part of Slovenia which, in addition to its lively economic activity, is characterized by its geographically diverse and picturesque natural environment and rich cultural heritage. The presence of natural springs, close proximity of the Rogla mountain plateau, as well as numerous museum collections that offer insight into the town’s rich and varied history, are all factors which contributed to the rapid development of tourism in the area.

Our Retro II luminaires are located within the tourist complex grounds at the southern part of town which encompass four hotels and ten apartment villas. In the process of planning the illumination systems for the parking lot, park, and areas in the immediate vicinity of the villas, we were conscious of the fact that in this particular project it was not only the technical demands, but also its context that mattered. Because vacation destinations are primarily about rest and relaxation, it is crucial that the lighting’s functionality contributes to the positive atmosphere of the environment and enhances visitors’ experiences. Retro II addressed these demands with the combination of its timeless shape and modern LED illumination technologies it employs.

Retro II’s broad area of lighting applications is made possible by its flexible lighting configurations, achieved through the use of advanced optical and dimming systems. In this way, Retro II covers not only the areas of urban, but also street lighting, thereby allowing for uniform and complete illumination of outdoor areas of tourist and park complexes.
