STREET AND URBAN LIGHTING IN THE CITY OF SANDY SHORES
With our LC Light Compact and Plain II Retro luminaires, regulated by Philips advanced CityTouch management platform, we contributed to increased energy efficiency and esthetic quality of Noordwijk’s public lighting.
Noordwijk is a seaside city in the Netherland, located in the heart of the famous Bollenstreek region of South Holland, known for its tulip fields. Its rich and long cultural heritage, charming city center, and long sandy shores work together to make Noordwijk the perfect family trip destination.
We helped to improve Noordwijk’s illumination by using a combination of two Geolux models designed for street and urban contexts that ensured uniform lighting of public areas, LC Light Compact and Plain II Retro.
Our LC Light Compact models are primarily designed for street lighting applications. They are characterized by their compact shape and low weight, easy installation and operation, as well as an innovative mounting bracket that ensures flexible, yet stable angular adjustments of the luminaire. Our second model, Plain II Retro, maintains its capability to provide quality street illumination due to its advanced optics, yet its timeless shape makes it perfect for esthetically more demanding lighting situations. The lighting system is managed by Philips CityTouch management system which allows easy and secure remote access to lighting configurations and system monitoring.
It is this wide variety of carefully designed luminaire families, that cover the areas of purely functional, as well as distinctively stylized lighting applications, in addition to the innovative functional and technically advanced design features, that makes Geolux luminaires the first choice of architects and urban designers wishing to implement functionally comprehensive and esthetically pleasing urban lighting systems.
