From Germany with distinction: the German Design Award!
For the demonstrated excellence in product design of our Plain I luminaire, we have been selected for the German Design Award.
The competition is run by the German Design Council (Rat für Formgebung), one of the world’s leading competence centers for communication and brand management in the field of design. A highly esteemed, international jury identifies unique design trends and awards projects that represent a truly pioneering contribution to the German and international design landscape.
In their evaluation of Plain I, the jury members emphasized the minimalistic design approach which also allows for easy maintenance, the economic efficiencies and modular design of the luminaire which enables the realization of complex photometric solutions, as well as the innovative mounting system offering precise angular adjustment. It is now the third time that Plain I has been recognized at internationally acclaimed forums for its synthesis of design and technology, further cementing GeoEnergetika’s status as a leading niche provider of urban LED illumination solutions.
“This street light provides winningly homogenous lighting. The product also features a straight-forward and delicate modular design – which means that it’s not only very versatile, but also helps to reduce costs.” – Statement of the jury
